The Virtual Boy is a console launched by Nintendo in 1995, capitalizing on the popularity of “virtual reality” in culture at the time.

The Vectrex is a console designed by Smith Engineering in 1982, using a black and white vector display. Color is integrated directly on the screen thanks to overlays provided with every game.
